Privacy Policy
Last updated
This Privacy Policy explains how Freezer Cook (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Freezer Cook, collects, uses and shares information when you visit freezer-cook.pages.dev (the “Website”), subscribe to our emails, leave a comment or otherwise interact with us. By using the Website you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Please check back periodically.
Information you give us
- Email sign-ups. When you subscribe to our newsletter or use a “Save this recipe” box, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We use it to send the recipe you asked for and our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Comments and ratings. When you leave a comment, we collect the comment, an optional name and an optional star rating. Comments are reviewed before they are published. Your name (or “Anonymous”) and your comment become public once approved, so please do not include personal details you do not want to share.
- Contact messages. If you contact us, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.
- Purchases. Digital products are sold through third-party checkout providers. We receive your name, email address and order details, but never your full payment card details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, we and our partners automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent on pages and approximate location (country or region). We use these technologies:
- Cookies. Small files stored on your device. Some are essential for the Website to work; others help us understand traffic or show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
- Log files. Our hosting and security provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested) to keep the Website secure and reliable.
- Local storage. Some features and partners store small amounts of data in your browser.
- Web beacons and pixels. Tiny images or scripts in pages and emails that tell us whether a page was viewed or an email was opened.
How we use information
We use information to run, maintain and improve the Website; to send emails you asked for; to publish and moderate comments; to understand which recipes are popular; to show advertising that funds the free content; to prevent spam, fraud and abuse; and to comply with the law.
Advertising
The Website is free to read because it is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising partners, currently including Google AdSense, Amazon Associates, and may add others in the future (this policy will be updated when we do).
- Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Website and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Other ad networks. Our advertising partners and their vendors may use cookies, pixels, device identifiers and similar technologies to collect information about your visits in order to show relevant ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure performance and prevent fraud. They may combine this with information they collect on other websites.
- Opting out. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative and, in Europe, Your Online Choices. You will still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, including links to Amazon as a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie so that a qualifying purchase can be credited to us. We do not receive any of your personal or payment information from these retailers. See our Disclosure Policy for details.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how the Website is used, for example which pages are visited and where visitors come from. This information is reported to us in aggregate.
Embedded content and sharing
Pages may include buttons or embedded content from other services, such as Pinterest “Save” buttons and videos. When you use them, those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

- Cookies: adjust your browser settings, or use the cookie or privacy settings link shown on the Website where available.
- Personalised ads: use the opt-out links in the Advertising section above.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: where advertising cookies count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under US state law, you can opt out using the privacy settings link on the Website or by contacting us. We honour browser-level Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. We process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, for non-essential cookies and personalised ads, which we request through a consent banner), our legitimate interests (running and securing the Website), and to perform a contract (delivering a purchase or newsletter you requested). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any right, email us at hello@freezercook.example. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here: for example, until you unsubscribe from emails, or for as long as a published comment remains on the Website. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
